I heard from some one who has very close ties with west ham that palace are messing about with transfers regarding west ham players keep trying to do deals reducing price and trying to only pay little up front here or there even trying silly low prices with big add ons only if some terms are met. west ham want 15-16m now which is a bargain for this guy just pay it already

That's what canny negotiators do. It may look like sharp practice from the other side, too bad.

We don’t have a surplus of cash based on the most recent accounts so would make sense to backload deals with deferred payments. I also know somebody who used to work with SP at Tag and said he was a pretty miserly negotiator.

Need some cover on the wings, with Wilf being put up top more often now we only really have Schlupp and Townsend to call wingers. He'd probably start most games ahead of one of them and has more potential to score than both. Definate upgrade in my eyes...get him!

well this deal wont happen now with signing of the other west ham guy. we have missed out on a quality player here who can play in multi positions
