Waste of space in my oppinion don't know why he hasn't been thrown out yet to be honest he's a constant sick note and I don't think he fits into a palace team know he's pace isn't brilliant and for a big guy he appears to be blown over by a light wind don't rate him never will

Conner Wickham is undergoing a period of rehabilitation after a very serious injury . As he comes back to full fitness he will have periods where soreness and small strains will occur .

This doesn't sound like anything but that and to write him off is a bit premature especially after he has worked so hard to get back to full fitness . Maybe in his eagerness he just over done it a bit .

A fit Wickham will be a big asset to the squad .

And we still need a striker

Roy mentioned it on his Fulham press conference but said both were only strains

You do realise he has a contract? I do wonder about some of our so-called fans.

I think that might be a tad unfair - his knee was bad enough that it could’ve ended his career. It’s only the advances in treatment that gave a chance of coming back.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

So just a calf strain and a hamstring strain. No big deal, these things happen as you return to fitness

Obviously not the player who caught and overtook England international Smalling then? I hope he comes back soon because a pairing of him and Wilf would be very good.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

He has a contract until 2020, but you'd expect his fitness record to be taken into account when considering any renewal. In the meantime he's here, so let's hope he can manage some useful games time. He'd started to put in a few decent performances before his long-term injury, albeit potential is of little use when it's on the treatment table.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

We wish that was the case and he went into retirement but that wont happen no matter how bad it is players do not retire due to medical anymore if under 35

People with that type of injury tend to return within 12 months.
