Times have changed people. We're no longer living in the 50s or 60s. Embrace change and dont be scared of it.

I've no particular issue with Elba if he gets it as the best candidate...as long as Bond is kept youthful enough....but I don't like this condescending attitude.

How has times changed for Poland or Japan or any number of countries in this area?

These are choices.

Besides we always hear from the 'progressive' left that the ethnicity of a role must be adhered to....how is this any different.

Funny isn't it how outraged people become when a Black or Asian character is played by a White person but it's fine to change the ethnicity of one of he most iconic White characters in cinema just to be 'progressive'.

No, I won't embrace it. We all need relatable characters in fiction. Hearing Black people going mad over Black Panther demonstrates clearly that people aren't colour blind. This is not a 'White thing'.
