It is worse than that 'inept or corrupt leadership', you are missing out the cause of most of the World's ills.

Who are these parasites.

Easy, the voters

Not when the country concerned doesn't stage fair, democratic elections (one might factor in our electoral system of 'First Past The Post to that claim with 'majority' 54.4% of electorate having not selected party in Government, based on 2017 Gen. Election result)

What a daft thing to say. Africa is huge and places such as Timbuktu in Mali hold vast amounts of manuscripts containing knowledge written by both Africans and others. Here's a few more to show just how wrong you are [Link]

I wouldn't have put it quite as harshly as that (your IQ isn't the same as your worth as a human) but the broad point is based in reality.....and of course when we talk about intelligence we are talking about averages over large sample sizes.

However, it's a scientific fact that Africans as a group hold the lowest IQ averages.....though memory suggests that Aboriginals may be lower...I can't quite remember now.

If you look at the wealth of nations you will find that those with high IQ averages with homogeneous populations tend to also correlate to wealth.

As an individual's IQ maps to wealth potential as well.....Well over the possibility of chance.

So it is for individuals, so it is for nations.

Why not just come out and say that Black Africans are thicker than the rest of the planet's population ? It may well be the case. Who knows ?

Funny enough taking this literally it is offensive.
But taking it as a fact bearing in mind what the government is going to allow ref this post it is true.
Being poor brings out the most stupid in people.
These people are poor and they can see a quick fix.
Then it will be back how it is once it's all been wasted.
Human nature I'm afraid.
It would happen anywhere which is contradictory to agreeing with the poster.
Say if we were told Tesco or asda were up for grabs and a free for all. I don't think I would be interested as I know the repucussions.
Remember the riots.
Stupid poor people mainly.
The op has a point in that scenario.

I must admit to being no expert but there does seem to be a lot of articles that suggest that a difference of IQ between different populations is highly unlikely.

I'm not going to get into a massive debate but here are a couple:

I don' say you are wrong but there does seem to be a lot of opposing views on the matter.

The same argument can be made for climate change deniers.

I agree with you. Most topics have so many differing views it's difficult to know who to believe.

Back to Africa I don't believe there is any difference in intelligence between the "races". I wonder if culture / religion has more of an impact on a society's development.

In Britain we started to rapidly progress in the middle ages because the black death killed off serfdom. Up until then you were tied to the land and not allowed to move to a better job. Guilds also protected their profession so you couldn't become a goldsmith just because you felt like it. With the fall in population the workers had more freedom to move about and take the jobs they wanted. This led to a merchant / middle class and entrepreneurs / inventors.

Around this time philosophers, scientists and theologians started to question everything. All of this contributed to people not accepting the status quo and looking for different solutions and financial self interest of course.

In Russia they never abolished serfdom until the 1860's nearly 400 years after we did so Russia was a very backward country and had to play catch up with the west.

Anyway just my thoughts.

Non language based IQ tests are not affected by a person's religion nor does it matter what their culture is.

Anyway just my thoughts.

A person's access to education does have an affect on their ability to succeed if the society they exist within enables it.

This is true......but how true. I refer you to the current consensus within the biological field relating to nature/nurture.

At best nurture has a 40 percent affect on intelligence and at worst a 20 percent affect.

The culture a person is raised in is in part closely related to intelligence....or rather that family's attitude to succeeding. China, for example, is a very restrictive society....yet it records some of the highest IQs for a group.

We can see the affect of access to education has had on African Americans and compare it to Africans.

African Americans are the richest 'Africans' in the world and the ones with the highest IQs. I would say this is because of the access to much better schools and societal stability. However, they are still significantly behind on IQ scores compared to other groups.

Other minorities like the Jews and South East Asians (who top the earnings list) have historically experienced problems yet on average score much higher in IQ tests.

The graphs are out there.....IQ score maps....on average....to economic success.

So we get excuses......it's an example...as I said earlier in the thread about how people want the world to be rather than accepting what nature gives us.

No one is at fault for their genes.

The data is there but is used by all sides in the debate to prove their points.

My own belief is that if you put 3 healthy baby's onto an uninhabited island, had them raised by robots to give them basic necessities to survive and taught them the same information, then all 3 would have the same knowledge and IQ. Then again I like to believe the best in people.

It's a nice belief.....a belief I would prefer to be true.

It just isn't.

Think about it......The reason the 100 metres is continually won by athletes from genes from African locations is directly due to the fact that those genes are best for sprinting.

Intelligence is much more complex than that but the same reality is also true. The gene pool you come from does affect your abilities.....in every single sphere of life.

Also, I always want to point out that these are averages and no one as an individual is described by a 'group' average.

However, the social constructionist argument is a lost one.....The longer we hold onto it the more damage we continue to do to innocents.

Read the 'Blank Slate' by Pinker.
