Well if he plays every PL game this season and still hasn't scored do you not think that along the way questions will be asked of Hodgson and supporters will vent their spleen at continually playing someone who hasn't hit the back of the net ? For months I have been willing Big Ben to score! Unfortunately I have now got to the point that I have no confidence in him scoring at all however clear cut the chance is. I am sure goals will come and I just hope that he scores sooner rather than later.

And for those of you saying we won't get anything for him, I think you're being a bit dramatic. Players have been much sought after during poor patches many times in the past - how many times has somebody forked out for Balotelli? And wasn't Pato the same?
