This journalist was a Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood supporter. While I'd agree that the murder in a consulate by Saudi is unacceptable I'd also state that ruining the western economy to placate....what is almost now an anti western country like Turkey is a non starter....especially considering who this guy was. This is not the hill to die on over the house of Saud.

Indeed Trump is not actually at war, not physical invasions anyway. Hopefully the American public are just not going down that route anymore. Good on them.

Since Saudi Arabia was established it has been ruled by older men, men with experience. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman might not be official ruler, but he seems to rule in everything but name. Problem is, hes just 33. Last thing we need is him thinking he can get away with this and that the US is in his back pocket (which it probably is anyway). Im not talking all out war, but something has to be done, even if we didnt agree with the murdered mans opinions.

However, Saudi is the very embodiment of 'the enemy of my enemy'. If the Americans are going to be pro Israeli and anti Iranian then there is only so much that can be done about it. The Saudis are the only major regional player pushing back against Iran in the region.

I'll show those pesky Saudi varmints who rules ok. S**t the president really means business this time. Yemen, faced with genocide starvation and silly things like that, breathes again. Saudi visas suspended, this will really hurt.........
