Good point - the club could get into real trouble if someone does point out the persistent standing in block E now. If the ejectees get disgruntled enough they could just go to the authorities and point out that the club has effectively made their old patch a standing section.
Could cause the club big problems.

Closure of the whole LH is/would be a real possibility.

I did read with a completely open mind. SP has ultimately to take blame for the problems that now exist. It doesn't matter where you stand on the HF or a singing section but I think everyone agrees the situation from start to current position has been mismanaged. The question is why? and Who ? and are they held responsible.

The fact is that only a very small part of support was consulted. So does the Singing section have support and active support (people who want to take part). How big is that active support among existing supporters? Without this vital info no part of ground should have been allocated.

There are a lot of potential scenarios that could now exist including refusal of planning permission to new stand, Refusal of permission to take part in a safe standing trial. Closure of Lower Holmesdale on safety grounds. The Fact is only time will tell and a lot will depend on behaviour of the Singing section.

What if the season ticket holders who have 25 year tickets challenge these changes in Courts? and win? The fact is with the proper consultation the disruption would have been minimised.

Are you having a bad day or life PitB? You are full of real downers. Brighten up pal. Everyone can still come to the games. Ok maybe watch from a different seat but hey ho still be at the Palace so who really cares? Everyone will still get their ‘fix’ and keep Palace in their blood. There really are much bigger things to worry about. Like making Europe or even Champions league.

What happens when flares are let off by HF first game after they return and the club has to take action? Do they then throw their dummies out the pram again and say "we're not coming" to the next game? Who actually runs this club now?

What does one actually have to do to get approval to join the HF's singing section? X-factor style auditions? who has access to the best fireworks? who's got the most black in their wardrobe?

It's a complete joke...an all-inclusive singing section should be exactly that.......all-inclusive...not the sole property of a bunch of jumped-up little pricks...

i dont get this at all now, do you have to audition x factor style to apply for this section? if you cant get to the game do you have to have a nominated a substitute singer for your seat or will the club place a suitably qualified person in your place?
As for this guff about the crowd being the 12th man, so the lack of the HF meant Sakho missed the net against Newcastle??
a tad bemused!

it's worse than that........at least X Factor style auditions would be transparent and open to all! Could even air it on Palace TV!

how do you get in the HF anyway? Do you have to do some kind of ritual? Is it like the Masons?

Nah, that's easy.

I, for my sins, know an HF & he's Polish. Been a member for 2 seasons now, was an ST holder, but not been to a game since 'The Troubles' Think you have to have the right kind of Black & able to march in time to the drum, just guessing tho

Totally agree....the earlier you get to the game the better choice of seat, first come first served

Sorry if covered before. Assuming these block E tickets are only available via the HF I do hope they have an equalities policy. I would hate the think the club is offerings tickets out that I as a BAME, Trans, differently abled, refuge would be discriminated against getting, by the unconscious bias of the HF when choosing who gets a ticket. I wonder if I was, would I have a case of action against the club?
