Yes please he has a tremendous work rate which sadly our current strikers lack. If he gets 15 goals a season for us at £10m I would be very happy. Hopefully the England connection with Roy will help us land him. Oh and no big surprise that Wet Spam are being linked with RLC I think we could all see that one coming. Maybe we should say we are interested in signing (insert name of cr*p player) and then let the Spam beat us to him. Anyway go on Steve see if the Arsenal will let Welbeck go.

Potentially a great signing. The main problem is the amount of time that he spends in the treatment room. I'm not sure we can take the risk when we have injured and/or misfiring strikers.

agree, get him in. This is exactly the type of striker we should be looking at right now - proven in the PL. (of which there's not many!) Will give CB proper competition - which could be what he needs. Welbeck working with Zaha, Meyer and Townsend can only be a good thing. The only thing i'd worry about is his wage demands. Rumoured to be on £75k at Arsenal.

£10m? I'd be very curious as to where they pulled that figure from. Hope the rumours are true, would be a very much needed signing for us.

Not going to happen.
He's up for leaving Arsenal but doesn't want to come to Palace.

Thanks Willo. Not injured at all this season then, just not getting picked. Always managed goals for England. I suspect he thinks he will go higher up the chain than us. Has the look of a Everton or Wet Spam signing. Originally posted by Willo

Has the look of a Everton or Wet Spam signing. You could well be right and that he will sign for a club deemed higher up the 'Totem Pole' than we are.
