I hear that he has split up with his mrs and is selling their house in Keston.

I bet it was him who was the one injured party

Time to take a chance on someone from the academy. In our current situation, I reckon hunger is better than hubris. We lucked out with Obi Wan, after all.

Short term memory loss is a definite sickness of Palace fans which I suffer from as well.
The truth is Connor has had it. He came on a few weeks back and struggled to run. We need to Chang our pattern fast and move for a nippy forward. No point playing these big ol cart horses in the premier..

Next.

Can never see him recover a level of fitness required after his career threatening injury and will probably retire from the game when his lucrative contract with us expires in 2020.

He reminds me of Dean Ashton... Both very talented, burst on to the scene at a young age but were hampered by serious injury... I just can't ever see him returning to the level he was at... Nearly 2 years out of football takes its toll and not many players return from that length of time out to be the players that were.

John Salako never returned to the level he was at... Same with Bolasie In fact off the top of my head I can only think of Alan Shearer who after about 14 months came back to continue where he had left off.... But Shearer was a freak of a player... In the nicest possible sense.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

I’ve read so many posts from doubters. We have to get behind this boy. Returning from a long injury and picking up another injury in a different place is a well worn path. It will happen to Benteke as well. Let’s stop panning him when he is so close and has come so far. All he ever wanted to do was play football, he hasn’t done it to himself. Let’s hope he is the exception, and get behind him. He certainly had something we lack now before the injury which is know how and belief in the final third. Without obvious alternatives having a moan isn’t helping so getting behind the guy and keeping the faith ❤️💙 might be all we have left. I for one am dreaming of a Wickham winner, AGAIN!!! COYP!!

We are simply not in a position to NOT gamble on Connor Wickham. In case people haven’t noticed we have a worse strike force than the times of Glenn Murray. Chamakh would be leading the line currently.

We are serioulsy light up top and Wickham at 80% is still worth a place in our starting lineup currently.

Give the lad a chance until the end of this season. He is under contract until 2020 and we don’t seem to have a ton of cash just sitting around.

We must roll the dice and we must support the bloke.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.
