Certainly not.

I need to be reminded of the sort of people we have helped ruin this country.

God, ain't that the truth.

Surprise, Surprise, they don't like a doubting voice, and want to get me banned. One doesn't go 14 years without a yellow without understanding the English language, or law (at least of the Courts Of England and Wales).

Previously I've believed in free sppech on these boards; expect many many Rule 8 reports, I truely hope the Rule is obeyed and applied, as it is a rule of the site.

Really,in my day teachers didn't teach their ideologies.
They were just very good teachers ( most).
Now days teachers could learn from that, and remember they are no longer in the 6th form ...

Back to the topic.

Hot on the heels of Presidents Juncker and Macron Chancellor Angela Merkel today called on the European Parliament to create an EU army. That is now the 3 key people in the EU singing from the same song sheet.

Farage has just played a Nick Clegg clip from 2014 where he accused Farage of being a conspiracy theorist and that the EU army would never happen.

Putin also thinks it is a good idea, part of the 'multipolar' world. No, I didn't understand that either......

Can't see it though, how would it fit with NATO, has done it's job well enough.

If the UK was left out, how would it defend itself?

Liar.....Paints people predicting the truth as fantasists and lies direct to their faces.

Where is he to answer for this.....Moves on.

The European army reality has been a clear direction.....it's power 101.....Every institution that provides gravy trains and lies about its worth looks to protect itself and cement its infrastructures.

If the EU nations, 28 of them, want their own army, it is just up to them.

Even Putin thinks it is an ok idea.

It is simply not the UK's business anymore.

Because the European armies dd so well the last time times.
A conventional war between major nations is a thing of the past. You cannot uninvent the bomb. The public doesn't accept casualties in any sort of skirmish.

The only place it can be effective is against its own people. Maybe those wonderful people in the EU are preparing for a disastrous future of overpopulation, shortages and divided communities in the new USE.

Macron is essentially neck and neck with Le Pen in the opinion polls.

Next year's elections is going to be very interesting.

Not only were we lied to for many years by those on the left about Europe's plans to be a superstate and also to have an army I just want to add some comments from EU politicians in power just for those still living under a rock and in denial.

This is a developing superstate which is looking for confrontation by politicians who think they are the new Rome.

Jean Claude Juncker (EU commission)
'Through trade deals the EU's standards and labour conditions were being exported across the world. It is time for the continent to further use its clout to mould the future.'

'The geopolitical situation makes this Europe's hour. The time for European sovereignty has come. It is time Europe took its destiny into its own hands. It is time Europe developed what I coined weltpolitikfalhigkeit - the capacity to play a role as a union in shaping global affairs. Europe has to become a more sovereign actor in international relations.'

'Let me clarify that the first one to talk about a European army four years ago was a Jean Claude Juncker. Memory is short nowadays in Brussels and the capitals but people here present you are aware who first launched this idea.'

Mr La Maire (France Finance minister)
'Europe must because a form of empire like China and the US, willing to deploy to full economic, monetary, technological and cultural power on the world to confront the two great superpowers.'

'I am talking about a peaceful empire, based on the rule of law. I use the term to sharpen awareness that we are going into a world where power matters. Europe should no longer shrink from deploying its power.'

We probably couldn't as long gone are the days when the young men of Britain would join up to defend our freedom as nowadays they would just argue about it on Twitter
