The article also states this will be "an additional £5m windfall" so he's no doubt getting a payoff anyway. On top of the £2.5m per year he's been getting.

How about it's done by years in the league, seeing as those who have spent the most time in it have benefited the most? i.e. we pay for 6/19th of 5% and the ever present teams fork out 19/19th of 5%.

How long has the bloke been in a job ? Quite right about the fraction paid and should be linked to time in job, if any as his salary no doubt went up and was probably performance related. Maybe he will donate it all back to grass roots football e.g. the Palace academy.

You think it’s difficult for Wilf to get a foul against him now!

Mind you knowing Parish he will probably wait till the last minute then chip in £10million*

*and I think Parish does an excellent job.

At the end of last season, it was reported that only 4 PL clubs were paying all staff the living wage.

Richard Scudamore's salary package was worth in excess of £2.5m last year.

But, yeah, let's bung him an extra £250k each.

Ask me about Ronald de Boer.
