Which bigger picture aren't I getting? Oh, of course, it's your fascination with immigration. You are simply switching your immigrants from one continent to others, as time will surely tell.

There is more at stake than immigration. I agree that leaving won't immediately alter the immigration situation, but it is a step.
The price we would pay for remaining would be losing our identity.
Do you honestly think that the powers that be don't seek to centralise power and divide us within our own nations?

Losing our identity? Really? You mean that identity we built up through inviting people in (and sometime not inviting them) from the Norse countries, France and Germany primarily? With alliances between ourselves and Spain, Portugal and Holland variously? Oh do me a favour, our identity is a moving feast but it really isn't incompatible with those of others. Take a look at from where we brought in our monarchy over the years.

So you trade some kind of project fear around concerns relating to identity for real relative impoverishment. Each to their own I suppose.

There was once a period in the not too distant past when the left actually cared about and defended UK jobs.

And you don't think that all the major ineractions we had with foreign entities had a permanent impact on our identity?
Most changes were caused by defeat in battle. This is different. This foreign entity wishes to legitimise the
pickpocketing of our national self determination while their puppet masters want to divide us from within with immigration and make us powerless, indoctrinated little workers.
If you can't see this then I can't help you.

I don't know why you keep saying I am 'the Left'. I defend jobs for British people, you may not have noticed but lots of us get about a bit.

I defend the UK economy which provides the building block for British people to get good work. And social supports as well.

I also feel much connectivity with all other EU countries as they have been gracious enough to welcome me to work there.

When you do make a 'right wing' point to counter balance then please point it out to me!

I don't understand, we can still have a sizeable fishing industry AND still work and travel in the EU. If you wanted to apply for a job in Germany, then the working visa is all part of the application.

Don't waste my time with that crap tactic.

Diversion is all you have.

Look at the difference between what we joined and what we have now, just for starters.
Listen to the rhetoric coming from Brussels and the big players in Europe. Look at what immigration is doing to our nations.

Open your eyes.
