No It demonstrates you've clearly got no grasp on reality Comparing Salah to Sorloth is actually laughable.

The last three seasons before Salah joined Liverpool he was on loan at Fiorentina and Roma in Serie A, renowned for its tough defences, Roma eventually signed him for 15 million after scoring 15 and 16 goals in respective seasons.

He also has banged in 39 Goals in 60 odd international appearances for Egypt.

Sorloth on the other hand, his last two clubs were FC Groningen playing 38 times and scoring 5, yes it was in the Eredivise but still a poor return, most notably he was moved on to some tin pot team in Denmark (FC Midtjylland ) where having clearly gone to a league of a much lesser standard, he doubled his prolific record from 5 to 10 goals in 19 goals, Impressive if it wasn't for the fact the league is utterly rubbish.

What that tells me is, he may be a decent league one striker or Championship at a push, but to compare him to Mo Salah is ludicrous, as is insinuating he is a better player than Benteke.

I'm not going to say he has been brilliant, but he has played an hour and a half of PL football this season in total, with his longest appearance being 26 minutes against Arsenal. Last season he started four games, but they were against Man Utd, Chelsea, Spurs and Everton away. A 35 page thread about someone who has barely broken his boots in seems madness to me. Against Spurs he did well in his cameo, I thought, aside from failing to beat the keeper. The issue is, he didn't have time to make amends. Even the best strikers miss chances, but they are playing regularly enough to a) finish other chances, and b) have match sharpness from playing regularly.

Personally I think we need to start him at least for a few games as he seems more suited to the role than Ayew who looks like he is playing out of position. If you watch videos of him in training he can hit a powerful shot and in theory he should be big and strong enough to hold the ball up, I just think he needs PL experience as a lot is being asked of him to play cameo roles having previously only played in leagues of a lower quality.

Getting back to the subject matter ......
what have we to lose in starting Sorloth to give him the chance to prove how good/not good he is?

People are condemning him out of hand before he has been given a start in a match.

Remember in recent times the likes of Benteke, Murray and Gayle all struggled to fit to our system and I guess more illustrious finishers might also struggle with the erratic 'service' provided by our so called midfielders, or, indeed our 'system' which I find difficult to understand. I suppose the manager does but I have doubts .....
