As Chris Sutton said via Radio analysis very recently , 'Palace is playing like a bang average club'.

Last night's result and Brighton's position in the Premiership doesn't lie that they are now a better club than Palace.

I can't see Palace beating in-form Wet Spam either on Saturday.

Transfer window cannot come quick enough
.

Problem is, I have no faith we'll get the players we need.

And don't forget, we've got Benteke and Wickham coming back, that's like having two new signings.......

As bad as we were the referee really did make a difference.
No penalty given and it might have been a different game.
True they would have had 11 men on the field - likely anyway - but we were growing into the game when that happened.
The corner given by Friend and his assistant just made it worse.
It is all if's and maybe's but let's hope we don't see that idiot again this season.
Deeper down though - our bench is rubbish and we looked a tired predictable side last night because Roy can't freshen it up because there is no one of even equal talent on the bench except the goalkeeper.
Saturday gave us hope briefly but as such -"bang average" just about sums it up and is being slightly generous perhaps.

You have hit the nail in the head.
A limited squad with nothing on the bench to really make a difference when we are behind, hence the reason why Hodgson has been slow to bring on substitutes as he doesn't really trust anyone to provide the spark required.

Morning after I still feel gutted and totally let down by that performance. If they dare to talk about not needing anything in January. The biggest glaring example of our total ineptness in creativity and goal scoring for all to see. 6 seasons in the premier league, look at that bloody bench!! No game changers. Roy is right what is the point of making changes at half time! I'm starting to feel Roy has had his time in the sun but he has been royally let down with recruitment there is no denying that. We up the creek without a paddle, up to the eyeballs with FFP. The Stand is more than likely a pipe dream so with no additional income it only means one thing. Selling Wilf. Honestly look where we are after 6 seasons of premier league money. Then look at Brighton. I'm seething with that last night and I want my bloody money back. Well I dont but you get my point!

Trouble is, if we can't scout players, how on earth are we going to find a manager.

I bet Dougie takes over as 'intrim'. At least he will have red and blue in his blood if he did...

The same red, white and blue blood that saw him abandon Palace in 2012.

I know we played badly but two gross errors by Friend were catastrophic. Not a pen, not a corner, but we lose two goals. Very hard to come back from that. The posters predicting that Friend would be a disaster were entirely correct.

The right place at the right time

Ashamed in myself for getting too excited after Burnley. Should have known what these s***house players are really like, especially after the other games this season where they've looked spineless and inept. Not again.

They've humiliated us. We can't let them or the owl in charge get away with it

This post has been merged from a topic called 'What about some Xmas present money for that joke' by Midlands Eagle

I ummed and arred about going to Brighton away as it's a bad time of year to be shelling out £30 to travel on a cold Tuesday night but I, like many others decided to support our team and back them as best we could.

We showed up but unfortunately none of the players did. A bunch of over paid losers with no backbone walked around a pitch, the majority barely breaking a sweat against 10 men.

How about digging into their pocket and paying the ticket price of every away fan that was there and had to endure the embarrassment at the hands of Brighton.

I doubt it, Parish will claim he needs it to sign that top striker in January, when really he'll go get a manicure and count his premier league money.
