A very poor (even next to others) performance yesterday.

He is totally inept at making runs or positioning himself. He needs to watch every minute of Glenn Murray's career and at least try to learn something. There has been no improvement so who is coaching him? You have to look at the coaching currently. Even Wilbraham had better positional sense.

He is close to useless in the opponents box as central defenders simply mark him out of the game and he has no answer. He doesnt use his physical size or strength at all and smaller defenders own him on a regular basis.

On top of that he cannot get on the end of any crosses or win virtually any headers.

I am not saying he doesnt have any potential but he looked absolutely abysmal last night. At least Campbell and Jerome could run the channels, try to make a move, time a run, get on the end of something.

He is League One standard at best.

Whoever scouted Sorloth, Rakip, and Jach needs to have a long old look in the mirror, as does the bloke who signed the cheques.

When you think Andone supposedly cost his release clause from Deportivo of 6 million euros there clearly are good players available on the market if you know what you are doing.

Krysztof Piatek cost Genoa 4 million euros.

We dont know what we are doing, that is the problem.

Our squad is worse than it was last year. We had better striking options when Dwight Gayle and Murray were at the club.

Rakip and Jach spring to mind.

Sorloth is simply rubbish, we have no business signing players with his ability.

Dwight Gayle back anyone ?

Talking to a mate yesterday and not being all gooey eyed about the past but if our forward options right now were Wilf, Bolasie, Murray and Gayle things would be a lot better - not amazing but better in every way!
Thanks as always Alan!

Whoever sanctioned the Sorloth signing should be sacked. End of! One of the worst strikers I've ever seen at Palace and by god we've had some sh*t ones...

I asked a Norwegian colleague at the time Sorloth was signed what he was like and he wasn't complimentary. How can Dougie et al not see that?

This.
He could not cut it in the Dutch league and believe me a lot of Scandinavian players have and at a very young age as they generally seem to settle in seamlessly. Even if they do it is far from certain they will be good in England, but the fact he could not and then got purchased after a few goals in an even Micky Mousier league for a s***load of money beggars believe.

Parish probably alone responsible, wanting Premiership football on the cheap.
Now his eye is off the ball and focusing on the beautiful Susana rather on strategies to keep us in the top flight,God help us in the next window as we slide further into the mire this season, clueless.

A player who averaged about 1 in 3 in the Dutch League is Locadia whom Brighton signed for £14 Mill and he hasn't been "Pulling up trees" for them.He was viewed as a strong, pacy centre-forward but has looked decidely average in the PL.

Perhaps we are looking to sign him in January !

When Parish was on the FYP pod a few months back he was asked why the new signings hadn’t spent any time on the pitch.

He proceeded to give a review of each player, and uttered such highlights as “Rakip was signed to make up the numbers in training” and Jach “has a lot of potential and is doing well in Turkey”.

When he came to Sorloth he paused for a second and said something like “he had a good game at West Brom”.

Sorloth is a worse player than Aaron Wilbraham.

From what I recall Aaron was bad but did score a few , and as per play off final did manage to get into goal scoring positions which Sorloth can’t even manage that
