We should have shown more intent after going a goal up but ultimately they had a few players who know where the goal is and we don't. Tomkins silly foul on Carroll was the real turning point in the game but Anderson was given forever to curl his shot in the top corner. Sakho, Kouyate and McArthur were decent but the rest of the team rubbish. We need to play with a centre forward and mix things up a bit but also have squad devoid of attacking nous. Several decent balls into the box today the best being from McArthur but no-one wanting to get on the end. Thought Luka and Meyer were particularly poor.

Why are there various comments stating that Tomkins got booked in the game ? There is no evidence of this in any match report anywhere

That was tough today, could have gone in at half time 2-0 up. When I look at our bench there are no options. All the teams around us have spent big to stay in the division, I think WH have spent 140 million and they have depth to their team. It looks highly likely we will be bottom 3 after the Christmas period, so unless we sign some players in January it will be a forgone conclusion that relegation will be our destiny.
