People rip into Mike Ashley but he has put in way more then SP has.

As I said the FFP stuff is rubbish it's an excuse.

What doesn't add up to me is how little the Americans have helped the club you would expect with their contacts we would get aid from things like sponsor deals but nothing and it even looks like the so called ring fence money which was suppose to cover all this new ground work was a lie.

At the end of the day we have owners not willing to dip into their own funds.

4,how do you know what the yanks have put into the club
5,we can get new owners see the club go under everyone is happy at least we havent the current owners well SP

I don't know what is most annoying, those that blame SP for everything or those that think that he's some sort of benign godlike figure.

1) is self evident
2) SP is only a minority shareholder and Harris and Blitzer have much more money than Ashley
3) Being run like a business doesn't necessarily mean run on a shoestring as most successful businesses have borrowings
4) Read the accounts and see
5) Is it part of SP's godlike status that if we get new owners the club will automatically go under unlike the Manchester clubs or Liverpool or many others
6) That's just a daft soundbite

What's more annoying is the group of people on this forum which go from one illogical reason to another for ways to hate a chairman of the club and if it isn't illogical it sure is repeated momentarily after every loss of a game.

1. 'It's self evident' he doesn't own as much as the other two? What does that mean?......Not sure what you are eluding to.
2. SP cannot tell the other shareholders how to spend their money...... (Oh look an illogical thing to even talk about.)
3. A shoestring which skates FFP wage structure if you bothered to look at the FFP (Go to page one, it's there and we are right on the top end of it.) Yes we can go over and incur fines but i'm pretty sure none of the share holders are eager to start paying large fines. Not to mention we havent been run on a shoestring in terms of buying certain players.
4.Yes... read the accounts to see number 3.
5. Is it part of some sense that when everything goes wrong it's SPs fault? I mean people even blamed him for the kitchen having a rat problem which is just pitiful. SP isn't at the forefront of every job at Palace that goes wrong.

I have no doubt we will survive another year in the most competitive league in the world for another year to battle against the super rich owners of the world.

Just look at the likes of Fulham who have tried to buy their way up the league and it has flopped. There are 8 teams all in the same boat as us.

Meanwhile our academy is going from strength to strength and a stadium is being rebuilt at somepoint.

It’s quite obvious that if SP sells we’ll immediately turn into Blackburn. We may even have to wear their strip to complete the picture. Parish must remain chairman until he’s in a care home, dribbling in his arm chair in damp p1ss slacks. Well he’ll probably have full time home care but he must never ever leave.

Says who?

I'm not sure that it will ever be fruitful to criticize the chairman to a forum member with the user name CPFCwetrust

Joking aside it wouldn't surprise me if that was one of the sticking points to a sale as Mr P seems to like the status of owning a footie club

Our academy is going from strength to strength? They’ve only just bought the space to develop it.

A stadium is being built at some point? No it isn’t. Nothing is happening with a main stand, which is partly why the HF are getting block E and not having to wait 2-3, erm, however many generations for a main stand to be finished.

You have no doubt we will stay up. No doubt hey?

The spending peaks and troughs because there’s no planning and p1ss poor scouting and Parish surrounds himself with inexperienced former players. That isn’t a successful formula unless you keep getting lucky.

It’s so badly run over the longer term that could become even worse if relegated because of the purchases made and the infrastructure so poor that your post surprises me, unless you are related to Steve.

He could get football people in to address some of this but only likes yes men and managers or former players so probably never going to happen.

That’s rather ironic coming from a board moderator called ‘Midlands’ Eagle

CPFCwetrust eludes to being faithful to the football club no matter what... Maybe you have read too much into that and Im sure it doesn't say SPwetrust but you can come up with more illogical things to say I have no doubt.

Anybody watching our developing squad can see some great talent and correct me if I am wrong but aren't we striving for category 1 status?

It seems 2 of you have come out the wood work with zero substance in a post.

What’s the radius you’re allowed to move away from SP (either), still be loyal and able to judge with a season ticket?
