Ayew is so poor it's almost funny. How he scored 11 goals last season is beyond me but I guess that's why we got him on loan and that is understandable. Thank f*** we didn't buy him and hopefully we can send him back to Wales in January...if he can find it..

He just looks like a winger, right now thats the one place we cant put him...I think asking him to play upfront as a holding striker is insane but if he wants to play, that is his only option right now.

I think he isnt bad at what he does, but to be honest, we dont really need him to do it...

Given the injury history I agree with not buying Ings.

We just needed to do a lot better than Ayew and Sorloth is all......

Agreed, on paper Ings would have been a massive risk. 20m for an inconsistant injury prone striker? The same assessment was made about Benteke and plenty are saying that we shouldnt have done that either...

Jordon Ayes scoring record in the premier league is not impressive

2017/18 Swansea played 36 scored 7
Overall premier record played 91 scored 15 Hardly going to set the world on fire with them stats

Against Leicester he failed again with bringing the team together for the attacking role he had been given and it just became harder for him during the second half when Leicester made the most of his positioning, he is a good player I feel but with the ball to his feet with close support and not with the ball bouncing everywhere with wide gaping support and because we have no Benteke threat (even when he is playing) opposing defenders can concentrate more on our other attacking players including said Ayew and that is why he looks even more lost.
We are now also worryingly becoming slower and slower in getting the ball and players forward due to this situation.
January cannot come quick enough.

With six assists too it's not awful terrible.

And both of his previous Premier League clubs (Villa and Swansea) were relegated, so he’s hardly what you could call a lucky talisman!

Why exactly did Parish et el go for Ayew rather than Danny Ings who has scored another two today and has scored 8 goals in all competitions this season.
We were near to signing him and have no idea why the deal collapsed. Was he considered yet another sick note??

A/ There defiantly were concerns over his fitness and his injury record, B/ wasn't there a fee involved? C/ he wanted to go to Southampton.

I think its more a case of Parish and his bargain basement deals, Pathetic if you ask me, Should never be anywhere near running a premier club, He has proved his inadequacy over and over again during the past few years, paying over the odds for virtually each player he has brought to the club and inflated wages to suit, Mutch, Ayew to mention a couple

I was under the impression that had Riederwald gone to Swansea (so we could sign him under FFP rules) then we would've signed him permanently.

As we signed him on loan at the last moment after he threw a strop I therefore fear that there is a deal to sign this waste of space for a fee in the summer when we may be able to afford him!

That's correct - thanks goodness Reiderwald also threw a bit of wobbly and refused to sign otherwise we'd be stuck with the lump on contract.
He hasn't looked interested in playing for us from the first minute, even before he got game time - you can be sure that for the first time ever I am actually going to pop open a frosty one and celebrate when we ship him back out.
