But then there’s cases of large companies with lots of foreign workers who don’t have that same affinity with wherever in the U.K. they live, although we’re really talking about the south east. Think large 30 storey head offices like HSBC in Canary Wharf. I can’t remember the final outcome but I can see non British workers accepting it more, or even wanting to relocate abroad.

Ah the restrictions on company expansion so it doesn’t impact on working environments. Results included no company workplaces expanding beyond 50 staff.

The lack of jobs maybe to do with the difficulty of sacking or making staff redundant. I think Macron is trying to change that as he understands it is a huge barrier for new businesses and foreign investment. This week there was a report that said the UK is the best country in the world to do business.
