I totally disagree with that. A woman may carry a child but that child isn't exclusively hers, it is fifty fifty.

Even if parental responsibility could be distilled down to some kind of biological democracy then for a decision you need 50% +1.

In the absence of any +1, the woman should always have the final say.

Do you translate this type of thinking to any other strata of life?

The fifty fifty percent reality of genetics is a reality. To say men can't demonstrate in objection to having no voice seems particularly draconian to me.

They have a right to object to this.....I'm not talking about 'final says'. That's on a far higher level of complexity.

Abolition I would think is very simple.

And dangerous for the women wanting an abortion.
It has nothing to do with anyone but the woman involved.

Do you have any children Cryrst?

My view on this altered a bit when we had our boys....had to think about it anew and felt really uncomfortable about the whole thing then.

Why are you uncomfortable.
The procedure and choice is for women.
Abolishing it would cause many painful deaths by back street clinics.

Seems to me just an excuse to prefer one form of death over another.
