Gotta say I rather like Linda McCartneys. But let’s just keep that a guilty secret. By the way, turns out we should stop eating bacon and ham with nitrites. I know someone who told me he got bowel cancer because of it. Nitrite free is coming in and we really should take it seriously

I try and keep the nitrites to a minimum but you need them for that red colour Some of us neo libs still know how to eat. Edited by steve1984 (08 Jan 2019 12.14am)

I'm never going to be a Vegan or Veggie, the former being a particularly weird bunch, desperate for the attention of being a vegan. That said, I'm coming around to the way of thinking that meat consumption overall is becoming obscene and completely unsustainable. There is increasing evidence that there's health benefits to cutting down on not just red meat but processed meats and dairy, and as someone said on here red meat is difficult to digest and leads to bloating. I'm going to make a concerted to eat more healthily and naturally overall, but the day is far from coming when the lamb roast gets binned!
