Quite right, all we need is a little tweaking with the players we have.

Until one or three get injured and then we’re struggling.

Inherited a decent team? He inherited a team in utter disarray, don't forget that. The situation was a complete mess and it took some great coaching and management to sort it out. Maybe the question you're asking is more about whether he has what it takes to push us on from here?

I wouldn't disagree with the post but how much of that is down to hodgsons management or the fact his inherited a pretty decent team who can turn it on against anyone every now and then. The frustrating thing for me is we look just one click away from being a pretty decent team and that's down to Roy to make happen but he would rather play it safe knowing the quality we have will just be enough to see us alright. We've got the best defence outside the top 6 and we quite clearly have problems converting chances so how are we looking to improve this ?

We don't seem to be, there's no evolution in our game at all. When benteke was fit, he was played deeper with wilf playing off him and has never looked great as a striker and has always been so much more ineffective and isolated up top on his own. We just play so narrow. Townsend and zaha are just as bad as each other, one wants to take on the whole team and the other just wants to cut in and shoot between 4 defenders and a goalie 9 times out of 10 his shot being blocked. Zaha just seems to take on everyone out of frustration that there's no one good enough to pass to. How many times does wan bissaka overlap only to get ignored because Townsend decides to cut in again. Van aanholt doesn't even bother and just runs to the edge of the box hoping zaha might pass, the rare occasion he does it's always a short pass back to wilf, tho neither are the best at crossing but we don't even attempt to try and change or do anything different.

We can't score and the attitude seems to be oh well we will have just enough quality to stay up anyway. Great 2nd half of the season to watch.

LMAO. Well played.

Reminds me of a Frank Skinner joke, about one time leaving the Hawthornes and being acosted by some religious sort asking him how he could give his life away to sin and pleasure and not be off praying somewhere.

He answered with "have you been in there, mate?".

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Blimey, you really really look for the negatives, are you saying that every single thing bad, or loss, mistake, it is all down to RH, but every win or good play is to the good players at his disposal. Poor Roy. he is really in a cant win situation, he is dammed if he does and dammed if he doesn't.

Your right. The internet is full of people who can do a better job, than the person actually doing the job. They just carry on with snide comments, living in a world where everything is perfect and no mistakes are made.

It could be a problem yes, but we have so far been fairly consistent with some very decent performances without certain important players, now two are back with very soon Benteke it makes us much stronger which is usually not the situation for us at this stage of the season, defence wise we have excellent cover but in midfield and attack it will just depend who it is, I feel over forty points is easier to see then not.

The summer will have to bring good dealings though to grasp the opportunity we have of being a surprise for next season, our back line is something many teams wish they could build on.

At the moment apart from Souare who just unluckily crushed his shoulder we have piratically no injuries, we've gone from one extreme to the other, Hodgson has a lot to do with this.

I see what you’re saying but I’ve been a Palace supporter for a long time. No more needs to be said.
