Clamp down on non-EU migration and put in place a far more effective freedom of movement agreement with the EU.

We need migrants. Better than come from Europe. And if they move here, then they get a NI number upon registering and a 5 year period in which they are expected to pay a different band of NI to effectively fund any NHS costs. No unemployment payments or other forms of welfare.

After this period of time as long as they have contributed tax for say 10 out of every 12 months, no criminal convictions, have paid all tax monies owed and have a valid CT bill for that period then they are GIVEN a British passport.

Politicians need to be honest about migration. It is not about being all cuddly and living in some ludicrous coca-cola advert but the hard cold reality that we need to increase our tax base.

Tax tax tax and more tax. But when that continues to fail..........what then?

People are really revealing their compassionate and caring natures in this flight of fancy. Without knowing if any kind of Brexit will yet happen, let alone the "over the cliff" one that so many seem desperate to achieve, this seems a mite premature.

None of the ideas I have so far read have even a small chance of becoming a reality. Even if, heaven forbid, Farage became PM, we still wouldn't go down those roads. Even he is not quite so stupid.

Enjoy your fantasies. It's as close as you will get.

I wouldn't be so sure.

It's all just a matter of time....sooner or later.

It baffles me that when we have +300,000 net coming into the country the majority of which are unskilled from poor countries that people think the answer to our problems is increasing tax as if it’s a bottomless well. Just google “UK government spending” and look at a pie chart of what percentage we already spend on “social protection”, health and education. It might surprise you (it did surprise me). Our incentives are completely wrong. E.g how can there be so much rubbish dumped along our roads when we have people idle recieving everything they need for a comfortable life. How can our elderly be receiving so little.

Why should it surprise anyone if its the same as any other comparable country?
