What is this obsession of wanting to sign ex players, we should be looking forward not back.
Especially a crocked player, that has lost his pace, brainless.

Why not roll the dice? If there is one place in the world where Bolasie can get back to his best, its at Selhurst.

For the sake of a fee and his wages, I would take a punt on him until the end of the season, assuming he passes a medical.

Even if we get Moses in we are very light on wingers/attacking midfielders.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

The fact that we now have such a paper thin squad means we cannot afford to take a punt.

for me it's pragmatic. we could use a bit of cover, he's match fit, and he could add a bit if Wilf or Andros, which we desperately need. I also think he might be a lot less s*** --and crocked-- than some say.

but it's 100% money dependent. No loan fee and they subsidise his wages heavily. or f*** off.

Bolasie is still a good player (even after his injury). And Aston Villa's chances of promotion are pretty much gone after loosing even Tammy Abraham and sitting in mid-table, so they might let him go, but he is Everton's player.

Getting him would not be cheap though. From what I understand it's about 2 million the loan, more than 10 million for a total transfer.

He wasn't that good, we had a result getting £26m for him, couldn't hit a barn door with his shooting.
He isn't coming back, we aren't going to be lumbered with another crock. Give the management some credit, if we didn't go for Solanke, because of injury, they aren't going for a failure like Bolasie.

He never really was, to be honest. Couple of tricks, but mostly fumbled his way through tackles and ran down dead alleys. We should be looking for better.

The guy peaked we had his best years.

keep going for former people is not good getting sick of it.

The guy has had injury problems but is not even doing anything great in championship and i dont think he will fit in to the style Roy plays also I fear Roy would stick him as striker

Bolasie always split opinion but I think people have a habit of under valuing their own club's players.

I remember the 3-3 v Liverpool...you could almost smell the fear in them every time he got the ball. At his best, on the counter, he was a special player despite his flaws.

That was then, and believing we'd get that player back would be mad.

But could he, especially as a sub, nudge the ball past a full back and whip in a cross at height? THAT is precisely what Benteke needs. Wilf never bends in a dangerous cross at height, Andros always cuts back, giving defenders a split second to set themselves.

I'm not saying plenty of things aren't wrong with Benteke's game, but we don't give him a lot of the kind of service that he'd thrive on.

And that's true regardless of whether we get Yala back.

Agreed. Yala on his day put fear in opponents. His moves vs Erickson and Liverpool (3 players, hand on ground) were some of the best I’ve ever seen. Yet alone his kick of the bottle thrown at him.

That being said his defence was atrocious.

But if we’re behind in a match would love to see him, instead of schlupp.

I’d take a £2 mm loan spell on him to strengthen the squad.

What's up with this trend of claiming he wasn't a good player? What a crock of smart arse nonsense - the Zaha/Bolasie attack was infamous for being one of the most formidable attacks in the league, a great duo that we struggled to replace.

Now though? We need to move on.

Can we get him back for a loan fee and Everton pay parts of his salary, a no-brainer. YB will get the crowd goin' with his amazing runs...
