What a load of rubbish, the old f*rts at the FA, we all know what that means, are a total bunch of to**ers, if they could they would probably put Wayne in front of a firing squad. As they can't it'll be a hefty fine to top up their money box.

What is the level of proof required by the FA to find someone guilty. Is it proved beyond a shadow of doubt as in the High Court, balance of probabilities as in the County Court or we say you're guilty therefore you are?

Anyway I agree with your opinion. It’s a load of rubbish. Absolutely ridiculous.

He's brought it on himself, if he hadn't publicly denied it immediately afterwards this would probably have never come to the attention of anyone. He'll get the book thrown at him joke or not. Maybe teach him and others not to self publisise.

Well the FA didnt buy his explanation. Despite someone digging up a photo of him doing something similar in a game it is a bit hard to believe his version of events. He is probably being made an example of. If you cannot do the time, dont do the crime.

Wayne responded to the criticism of it, I’m not sure how it would have helped his cause by saying nothing. The FA are not looking to charge him because he denied doing it, they are charging him because they somewhat unbelievably think it is their responsibility to do so regardless of whether it was a joke or a misunderstanding.
