There's only one circumstance where I'll welcome seeing Sadiq Khan as a thread title.

This is not about the left, or the right, or immigration, it's about the man as an elected official.

Can anyone tell me what has Mr Khan actually done as London Mayor.

That was an Evening Standard story, so you don't know it, you think it. Maybe you should apply a bit of quality control on the information you receive. Perhaps its time that you got a bit angry with people who lie to you and are taking you for a propaganda sponge.

"I genuinely would like someone to give me an alternative opinion on the Mayor of London, as I actually forgot he was The Mayor." What is the point? I cannot tell you what you want to hear.

The Developer deals is unquantifiable as is the money lost by `winding up' the unions to further his ideological ends.

No one is Smarmier than the Boris Calamity vanity project. Funny how his ideology of not wasting public money has never prevented him wasting public money. But I suppose you could argue that he never "wastes" public money if it enriches his mates.

There are a lot of things that the Mayor is not responsible for so I can understand why any Mayor wanting to make an impact with the voters look to vanity projects.

You forgot to mention cycle lanes which has brought London to a standstill Boris started it and Khan has just played along.

Some of Boris' ideas could have worked with better planning and less public money.

An iconic bus to replace the route master which is known around the world would not be a bad thing.

I quite liked the idea of a garden bridge but he should have picked on an exiting one and tarted it up or built a new one when people wanted it.

A cable car across the Thames would work but the current one starts and goes to places the public don't want or need to go to.

A new airport to replace Heathrow had a lot of merit we need 5 runways to cope with capacity a 3rd runway just kicks the can down the road.

For me the role of Mayor is fix transport and to rubber stamp ideas that will attract tourism such as the wheel at Parliament. Other than that I would prefer they but out.

I was informed SK was one of the briefs that defended the London bus/tube bombers.

Sadiq Khan at one time acted as a lawyer for the Nation of Islam...He did end up representing the early terrorist version of Maajid Nawaz and others.

I don't think the 7/7 stuff is true....Rather amusingly he spent most of his legal career taking cases against the Met Police.

He's hardly the best example we have to lead security in London.....He's an anti establishment figure who decided to become apart of it.

Like most minority politicians he plays the wearing of two hats.
