I don't have an issue with this, I have plenty of mates who have a similar situation and outlook. The only ones I used to disagree with where those who were born and raised here, with both parents from elsewhere, yet had the "I'll support whoever England are playing against" in any sport.

At least we had the pleasure of extracting the urine from him when we won

I get it....it's your heritage...you were raised in a Jamaican household...but from an English/British angle it's also a form of diluted allegiance. In small numbers I accept this...but on the large scale it's disastrous for any nation state. Correct me if I'm wrong but you see yourself as a Jamaican who lives in Britain with a British passport. First and foremost it's none of our business who someone supports its just a game of cricket when all said and done. Remember a story about Welshman Robert Croft who played for England who were on a winter tour one year whilst the England V Wales was being played at rugby, the whole England cricket team watched it in a bar and Croft was cheering for Wales in front of his England team mates, think words were said about him being unpatriotic and it got a few backs up.

If you grew up in a house where your whole family are supporting a cricket or football team of another country (their country), and you follow suit (as you most likely would) how/why would you suddenly switch allegiance later in life even if you're born and raised in England?
