Sorry, no link . . . Just heard via the 'Addy' he's been charged with 'Improper Conduct' & has until 5th Feb to reply. Could be an extra 1 game ban &/or large fine(imo) FFS. How ridiculous. Are half a dozen Saints players going to be charged with behaving like Millwall fans? Is Marriner going to be charged with negligence and incompetence? And is the club going to meekly sit there and take this s*** on the nose or is it going to tell the FA to start officiating games properly? It's absolutely pathetic. This with knobs on. Wilf had been being picked on in a highly professional way, knowing that there was a chance something would eventually tip him over the balance. Jedi would have got that. He would have seen the issue arising, stepped in and taken the Yellow himself by facing up to Ward Prowse. He would then have made sure Ward Prowse ended the game with less skin on his bones than he started with. Our enforcers should be Luka and Mamadou. Ayew did his best but come on... Maybe we need a coach to teach the dark arts, otherwise our flair players are going to get hurt. Luka had already got yellow. I tend to agree with beagle's post this morning. They should have already had a red, or two, and we should have had a penalty by the time the Zaha incident happened.

Palace can’t influence the ref, most of them are pony, Zaha has let everyone down, no ones fault but his.

I reckon this is the case. He just doesn't seem to be enjoying his football at the moment. Even when he made the goal against spurs and scored against saints, his celebrations were fairly muted. It's been like this since the Watford situation, clearly he doesn't feel safe or happy knowing that opposition players are intentionally trying to injure him (as has even been admitted by others, as we all know), the referees aren't doing enough about it and the 'fans' merely respond with "Let's just sell him and get the money". Nice one guys. "He's let the team down" is another one I hear often as a reason for putting him in the doghouse. Yeah, well, the rest of those involved have let the game down but are the ones that suffer the least. All that aside I must say I was shocked that the second yellow was for the clap - I assumed something else happened or was said off camera but no, it was for a clap. A clap!

A clap! its called disrespect of the ref its in the rules that seems nobody reads, also something he said got him sent off,theres times to shut up and that was one of them he needs to get the refs on his side all the good players do and get most fouls in there favor,

2) County FA's wont sanction this as it 'upsets' their grip on young up & coming refs who HAVE to go through the system to make it, ie: you have to start at 14yo & be in the right game & seen by the right assessor at the right time.
