I doubt that, the Police can barely keep control of the streets as it is. Some are being beaten up recently, they have lost all respect to some groups. The scooter thing got right out of control although they have now been given more rights in this regard so it is improving. The Police have also been issued with more tasers but it is only situations where personal harm is likely that they get involved with. They are unlikely to respond to cases of criminal damage or theft now.

I doubt that, the Police can barely keep control of the streets as it is.
Some are being beaten up recently, they have lost all respect to some groups.
The scooter thing got right out of control although they have now been given more rights in this regard so it is improving.

According to LBC's France correspondent last weekend the police and army protected the rich areas of Paris leaving the yellow vests to destroy parts of the the poorer areas in north Paris. The establishment looking after themselves again. One more point
