There was the obvious: 4-3 vs pool, Hopkin in the Playoff final.

But for me it boils down to two moments: Freedmans last minute goal against Stockport to keep us up. I remember my friend jumping up so hard in our living room that he smashed the light!

And Dwight Gayle's last minute goal against Villa. It was at that moment where I knew that things were happening for us as a club, and that there was a slight chance we could lose the "yoyo" tag attached to us for so long.

Turns out I was right!

No, she was unhappy with my celebration and knew that I wasn't going "YESSS" because I had finished my load. To be honest, I'd rather be left half done than a draw or a defeat in the league, so it was still a positive memory.

No argument from me.

I was so happy with the result I would have finished you myself!

Stockport away for me, last game of the season and the threat of dropping into Div 1, mad on the terrace behind the goal and all over the ground, everyone on the pitch at the end, just so relieved when we scored and the other result went our way, great day out.

Winning 4-2 away at Wrexham in the last game of the 1976/77 season to pip them for promotion from the Old division 3 (never been back)
We only lost 1 of last 13 games after buying Jeff Bourne for 30,000. Hard to beat for an impact buy

Hard to believe it was nearly 18 years ago, it was a dreadful game and so tense, five minutes from the end we all thought we were down, so you’re right, the relief when we scored made it a special moment.
When you think where we are now and where they are!!

‘Moment’ is the first equaliser at Villa Park in 1990. I have never gone so ‘potty’ before or since.

Close 2nd and 3rd:

The winner in the above game.

Dave Swindlehurst scoring at Elland Road, 1976. I was lucky enough to be there, age 16.

All FA Cup ‘moments’.

When that goal went in I was having a pee as the queue was massive. There was urine flying everywhere!!!
