Given that we stay up this year and working within our financial constraints, who would you prefer to see sign for us, Batshuayi or RLC?

I'm on the fence but leaning toward Batshuayi. I think he's going to be an astute loan and help solve our goal scoring woes.

Maybe a swap deal involving Wilf could be on cards who knows ?

I very much doubt it.

Well we could quite easily lose wilf and wan bissaka, along with getting benteke off the books so we could have quite a lot of financial freedom. Obviously it would be impossible or extremely lucky to get adequate replacements for wilf and wan bissaka.

Yes ,far too early to say what sort of contribution Batshuayi (did I spell that right?) is going to make . Given that we know what RLC brings im going for what we know and for me its got to be Ruben every time .

However …………...Im not burning any bridges just yet .

And we still need a striker

And created our second goal. Hopefully, he will go on to create/ put away some others and lift our season ... particularly at home.

Hmm, let me consider the 15 mins or so Bats has played vs the 24 apps RLC made and formulate a sensible thought out reply

Both are good players but let's see the impact of Bats over a few more games first, of course hoping he bangs them in from all angles and assists Benteke in finding the net

If all goes well and we could somehow find Chelsea on a day when their transfer people are drunk and would swap RLC and Bats for Wilf I would jump at that. But even then in that fantasy wages could be a problem

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Probably not though, because the players we sell invariably are undervalued and those we buy - with the sellers knowing we are sitting on cash and/or desperate - are invariably overvalued.

I don’t think wages would be an issue if we lost Wilf and Tekkers (who are on a combined shed load anyway) and replaced them with RLC and Bats. These are two players who could potentially transform our team and young enough to do so for several seasons. I would only ever sell Wilf if he was replaced with this sort of quality, but it isn’t my team and we will probably get fleeced for some second rate journeyman.

Why would we waste a lot of money to sign RLC when he will spend half of every season on the treatment table and the other half trying to get fully fit.
Much too risky a move.

Decent enough player but no where near as good as people make out.
