This post has been merged from a topic called 'BBC fake news - Tommy Robinson' by Midlands Eagle Interesting to see what he puts out, but I just really can’t take the bloke seriously - he’s like a parody. Clearly has an appeal to certain sections of society, and I dont disagree with some of the points he makes, but the cynic in me can’t help but think it’s all a big money-making show.

What a daft idea! There are regulatory bodies to check accuracy and discipline those who transgress, just as there are Policemen to investigate and prosecute paedophiles. We don't need self-important, self-appointed, loud-mouthed bully boys rabble-rousing the bigoted among us. Because that has gone so well up till now. Trust know one. You might live in an idealistic world but the reality of 2019 Britain is far from ideal and those circumstances have been largely caused by the politicians you want us to trust.

We need to relearn what democracy means and put back our trust in those we elect to serve us OR choose others to do it. *We need to unquestionably trust those in power to police themselves in conjunction with the 'independant' regulatory bodies they set up and fund. If anyone has evidence of misdeeds then there are already established processes for reporting them. Posting on youtube is not the way. It's simple self-promotion.
