Don't really understand some of the negative posts on here. First half wasn't great, but still think we played well. While thd 2nd half we totally dominated, playing some great football, creating some good chances, and missed 2 absolute sitters. And for those complaining we had less possession against Fulham last week, we had more than a good west ham team today. Even schlupp played well today. The one dissapointment was benteke who just seems totally lost .

I think the negativity comes from repeat outcomes. Predictable lineups, crap finishing and our position in the table which I don't think reflects our ability or industry.

Lot of people calling for Meyer to start, PVA and Macca to be dropped. I think these are obvious changes that Roy could try immediately and probably won't.

Thought we played well today, but I think our set up is too defensive. Wilf, Andros, PVA and Aaron are very quick when given the chance. At the moment we seem to slow everything down once we win the ball backrather than trying to hit teams on the break

Mccarthur has worked his butt off this season, but I agreed when does Meyer become a regular fixture in the team bearing in mind he is on 100/- + a week and was brilliant in his cameo performance this afternooon

Respect the point. Probably should have taken 3 alas but we will see what happens in the Burnley/Brighton game. Amazing we are (temporarily) above Brighton since they were clear of us by a fair few points only a few weeks ago. Like last season again.

That's more a case of Brighton being s*** tbf, but I'll take any positive I can get!

If this is the case then we need to look at Wolves, who battered West Ham recently at home scoring 3 and did the same to Everton. Whatever we are trying to do you need goals to win games and we don't have them at the moment.

I don't need that kind of excitement.

Can’t rely on ‘em. Still, at least we are above ‘em!

I would rather Brighton lose and stay below us. They are in a terrible run of form and are probably more likely to go down than Burnley. Plus it's Brighton FFS.

I agree, whatever, our league position says it all, good or a bad performance today is irrelevant, we are still hovering around the relegation zone just three points from being in bottom three, our goal difference is worth an extra point but we still cannot afford to keep dropping points at home, there is something that is not
quite right at the club and I think the blame is at the top, as we just do not improve year on year and a change in direction is needed, however lets first get this season done and dusted and lets hope we can scrape over the line!

I love Jimmy Mac, but he needs to be on the bench next week after that performance today. We have enough options now that playing time should be based on merit. Fail to produce, give someone else the next game.

This should also be Benteke last game as a starter. Bring him off the bench if we need him, but Batshuayi is the man, and Benteke is where goal chances go to die.

For us to be in a relegation battle with the talent on our roster is absolutely criminal.

Should have won, but once again we get a point, very common circumstance.

I won’t watch the highlights as I cannot sit through watching MacArthur miss that chance ever again for as long as I live.

I need to see it again because I still can't understand how he missed it. He did everything right, then......?
