No, like the one he created for Wilf.

Created? He touched it back to him, not exactly a pirlo through ball.

MacArthur had a shocker and needs to be benched.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

It's clear, like Cabaye last season, that Jimmy can't last a full 90 mins these days. Perhaps this is in Roy's mind when in comes to team selection.

I think he’s a great little player. With a keeper 4 at the back and 3 holding midfielders and only 2 wingers and 1 forward. We have 8 players stopping goals and 3 trying to score them. We don’t need 3 defensive midfielders, when Meyer plays , it means the other team have to drop at least one midfielder back.
Proper quality player. Should be playing every week.
I thought he was our best player today and Zaballetta was their best, think they played 15 minutes between them.

Did you see the size of those WHU players? They’ve got real units in that team. I can see why Roy didn’t start him. Sound management. Loved some of the football we played today by the way. Dropped points yet again due to poor finishing and officiating. But a great watch.

David silva always starts against West Ham. So does Kante and Hazard.
Agree with the rest of your post, really enjoyed the game.

Meyer should start games not come on in the last 15 mins. We are a different animal with him on, he gets further up field where he can hurt to opposition.

IMO he’s generally been better off the bench when we’re trying to open up the opposition than starting but think we’ve become a bit predictable and Roy could mix things up.

Understand the frustration with McArthur and his loss of composure in front of goal this season but saying he’s been poor is way off.

Can’t remember when he last started a league game?
Not sure what more he can do, than what he did today, to get a start.
If they want him to be 6 inches taller, 3 stone heavier and to sit in front of the Center backs, they should have signed someone 6 inches taller, 3 stone heavier and a defensive midfielder, not Max Meyer.
Quality player.

I think he started Cardiff at home and got hooked shortly after snatching at a chance. Had a run of games starting against Burnley when he was MOM, Brighton (wasnt there but the result weren’t great and word is he was crap). West Ham away (thought he was poor). Can’t remember against Leicester. Started away to City and was class.

Agree he was decent today.

As usual, excellent when he came on. He gets into little pockets of space which no other midfielders do. Has a great first touch and threads lovely balls through to the strikers.

He needs to be starting games.

Can possibly understand Roy's thinking, in that we need fighters/robust midfielders in our position but in the amount of time Meyer was on their defence was opened up on a few occasions with his speed of vision, has to be a starter along with Luka, build the rest of midfield around them
