Out of curiosity why does brexit bother you if you reside in Holland or where ever? Is it because you'll be asked to pay more tax to cover the EUs short fallings when the uk contributions stop?

I asked him that. He did say he now had to pay to reside in Holland as he is now classed as a foreigner. Didn't really say why else it bothered him.

Strange! I thought it was brought to us by 52% of the voting public

Now Now Becky, that sort of response doesn't suit his agenda. It wouldn't surprise me if my Labour supporters voted for Brexit than Tories.
I would also argue that the Tories haven't actually brought us the Brexit people voted for, as the majority of the Government wanted us to stay,

Yes but as always you miss the point

As with all Brexit questions, why would I want to pay money? , why would I want to lose rights and freedoms? What's the payback?

Same for you: what do you get in return for what you've given up?

We will be free to make our own laws and set our own Vat rates so EU's highly unpopular tampon tax will be one of the first to go

The reduced UK VAT rate of 5% on tampons was set by the Chancellor not the EU.

The 'tampon tax' is being abolished after voting in the EU parliament anyway.

You would be better off thinking about steep increases in taxes and prices as a result of brexit, the Chancellor has already warned of a post-brexit budget.

You could always reduce your tampon consumption I suppose.......

Thanks ME for the support. Not sure why he keeps telling me I have missed the point, I just advised another poster what he had said in reply to my question.
Funnily enough it does sound all about him, despite remainers saying we must consider what we are giving up for future generations. I am indeed thinking of my offspring both of whom also voted to leave
