This is the same issue.......Their prophet had a very underage wife and he is regarded as the perfect man....Now this can be seen within the context of the time but these realities feed into cultural attitudes.

I think it's fair to say that most Muslims don't approve of these grooming gangs. But it would also be deluded to think that the culture within all these communities is western and that the attitudes are the same at the same percentages.

There are reasons that none of these girls were Muslims.

All true. The question though is not if to respond but how to respond.

Quietly through the community, promoting a long term general acceptance of our way of life and expectations or

Confrontation leading to isolationism and bigger problems.

Well, I've revealed that actually it isn't those behaviours that annoy you but the politics.

The suffragettes actually organisated violence and examples like Mandela were actual terrorists of their time (self described) (At his trial, Mandela pleaded guilty to 156 acts of public violence and had also led a bombing campaign and has various numbers of deaths attributed to him).

But no....you show that it's the politics, not the behaviours....So please, don't pretend otherwise.

That you and those who think as you do see equivalence is unsurprising. What I said was that not too many would and I think that is true.

Both the suffragettes and Mandela took a while to establish their status as worthy protesters. I really don't see Robinson in the same class. I see him exactly as I described him, a rabble rouser more interested in his image than the causes he claims to care about.

Please point to the Islamic community in the west that has done this.

Essentially you are saying you prefer to carry on with the same approach that's a proven failure.....sounds like appeasement to me.

Why should I accept a problem that supporters of mass immigration and multiculturalism have brought to my door? I didn't create this problem and now the people who object are told to keep their heads down.

If you don't face problems when they are small enough they grow too large to deal with later...That's happening as we speak...The thing with appeasement is that it's only ever a delaying tactic and it doesn't work. This summer we will no doubt have more dead westerners in our cities....but hey...some cucks can sing 'Imagine' can't they and hold hands across a bridge or something.

You can slag off Robinson if you want to.....but he's no appeaser and he's got balls and while this nation's scared neo liberals go after Robinson instead of the real problem I'll support him.....not the appeasers.

Yeah, the kind of people who watch Panorama and think they are listening to the truth.

Robinson is growing....and that's despite all the propaganda used against him.

Yeah with Mandela you're prepared to ignore the bodies if you believe in the cause.....But with Robinson....well he's a rabble rouser....oh terrible person.

Sure, we know where you stand.

This discussion was about why things had been known about for years but nothing done. All I have done is to try to explain why that seems to have been with the benefit of my imperfect personal knowledge.

Is it a "proven failure"? That perhaps depends on how long a view you are prepared to take and the analysis of all the alternatives.

It is my own view that multi-culturalism is a healthy thing in today's world and that we would be unwise to try to isolate ourselves from it. That it brings challenges with it is clearly true but we have faced many challenges before, overcome them and become a richer society as a consequence.

As with Brexit I think it's foolish to pretend that we can apply the expectations and standards of our grandfathers in 2019 and that our children won't thank us for trying to imitate Canute.

I am no appeaser and am fully on board with the need to ensure that the guilty face justice and that everyone who lives in the UK abides by our laws. It is how we approach that task that I take issue with the likes of Robinson who seems to give no thought to the consequences of his stirring the pot and only to a desire to see it's contents chucked around. I see him as an attention seeker looking for issues that he can use for his own purposes.

If you truly believe there is any equivalence then I totally disagree. In fact I think it's so obviously nonsense as to be quite amusing.

That Mandela was regarded as a terrorist by the apartheid regime, and those who accepted it, doesn't mean he was. The line between a freedom fighter and a terrorist is a thin one and often depends upon your perspective. I know where I stand, and always stood.

To compare Mandela's position with what Robinson does is ridiculous.

Yes it is as Mandelas ANZ party killed many civilians where as TR is opening people's eyes to Islamic extremists and child grooming gang which have been protected by local governments and police forces!

In general Yes for every culture other than Islam. We haven't terrorists, grooming gangs
Honour killings in any other culture here in Britain.
If you think he is "looking for issues" and finds lots of issues why should he not report it? Appeasement?
You want the guilty to face justice. Why was Rotherham hidden for so long. Did the guilty face justice, NO. Why shouldn't TR highlight this. He is doing good not bad!

Multiculturalism is an elitist's social experiment gone badly wrong.

Rather than have controlled, selective immigration based on merit, "multiculturalism" was promoted to justify unchecked mass immigration, breeding the attitude of "you're racist if you challenge this".

This benefited the elites in two ways short term. It ripped the arse out of the labour market, thus suppressing the working classes, and provides ongoing votes. (Or so they thought: Islam has no interest in democracy, so that's backfired)

Multiculturalism is silencing debate and opposition. Multiculturalism is a control mechanism. Multiculturalism is fascism.

Being concerned by mass, seemingly unvetted immigration is not racism. Opposing the transplanting of barbarism from backwards cultures directly into our society is not racism.

If a set of beliefs or cultural practices are harmful to our civilised way of life or incompatible with our culture they should never be accommodated. If this is too much to sacrifice then the application for immigration to our shores should be directed to where your ways are accepted, such as where you already f***ing are.
