We are Palace and that’s what we do. Make it hard for ourselves. Yeah we have all witnesses the standard Palace scenario of never taking the easy route. But at half time we were cruising and have made hard work of this game through negative tactics/ subs. Cup run is fantastic and glad we have reached quarters but our league form suggests we are in regression under Hodgson. Clubs like Wolves, Watford, Bournemouth,Brighton etc have all over taken us in recent years and will easily finish above us because we simply aren’t ruthless enough. 20+ attempts on target each week means squat if you aren’t getting 3 points.

Not a great performance but we got the job done. Nice to see Max get 90 minutes. Millwall in the next round please.
