and so this is the latest news story.

it poses just a few questions :

- is this ethical ?
- is this legal ?
- how would the agency fare if the shoe was on the other foot ie. 'a whites only agency' ?
- which employers are likely to use these models ?
- what will be the reaction from other modelling agencies ?
- is it ok to call them racist ? or is that word reserved for those who discriminate in favour of ginger people ?

My attitude towards this is a bit like the 'black history museum' concept.

If you can have a model agency that can say 'only whites' then I have zero issues with having agencies that say 'only (insert race or none whites)'.

If you can't have a 'white only' modelling agency then you can't have this....or shouldn't anyway.

I think it's a step backwards but it's how things are going.

The message is.....Identity politics for me....but not for thee.

if it could be restricted to the terraces of Scumford Bridge and the MOBO awards then the world would be a more tolerant place.
