Misplaced some passes today and should have had a clear run at goal if he had controlled it better but it’s another good contribution. I used to slate him but he has really turned things around. Bardsley got Schlupped for the all important first goal.

I thought he had a good shout for MotM: in addition to the first goal, he also had a tremendous shot that, but for a slight deflection, was going top corner, and although he muffed his touch when breaking through from the halfway line, what he did to get there was pretty amazing.
