He was surprisingly good in Philomena, I thought.

I watched This Time last night and thought it was very funny in places, certainly better than the Martin Clunes comedy Warren which I also recorded and watched. Warren did have a few funny bits but not enough to make me watch it again.

The format doesn't quite work. The pace of it. I preferred I'm Alan Partridge. "Smell my cheese, you mother!"

Last nights was cringingly accurate.

Watch morning TV and it isn't that different from the satire.

It got better. The scene with his face on a schoolboy's body was up there with anything he's done.

Yes, I feel like we’re getting used to the medium as well, it took a little time but I’m really enjoying the new show.

don't like Coogan himself (although it seems that plenty of women do) but I am enjoying the new series.

I think the girl that plays the co presenter is very good which also helps.

I didn't think much of his Comic Relief sketch last night though and I'm not sure Richer Sounds would've appreciated being name checked. But I may be wrong.

And let's not forget Richard Madeley before him.

I caught the third episode of the new show last night and enjoyed it more than the first so maybe it just takes some getting into. It's still no 'I'm Alan Patridge' though.

Last night's Partridge was funny.

The 100 year old woman and the Irish lookalike were very good.
