you ever heard of Detroit ? it was once a wealthy city.

The house prices have a lot to do with it too. Sell up in London and get a nicer home and have a chunk of change leftover.

What would the reaction be if there was an announcement that the next person convicted of knife murder was going to get a minimum of 30 years?

the problem is, thats the prison system is full to bursting point, and we simply cant afford to lock up every person caught with a weapon.

thats why we are looking at dickhead ideas like fitting gps devices to 1st offenders

Yes that’s true but murderers are still locked up. The next one convicted should get smashed with a vicious tariff. If there’s plenty of warning no one can complain.

So more police would mean what?
It should more stop and search but your ilk wont like the 'type' of person primarily to be searched.
It will be seen in your eyes as....
stereotyping potential offenders which leads to your favourite word 'racist'
Also you seem to be saying that the tories are putting knives in peoples pockets.
By the way hows your research going on benefit fraud. Seems you went quiet over that pool of cash that would pay for a load of plods.

You might get a night of mass-stabbings, as 'care-in-the-community' homeless people try to 'win' 30 years of shelter and free meals ?

Whatever the solution(s) may be they won’t be coming from the mayor who’s claimed today that he’s done all he can about the problem. Well, thanks. Top job. Well done.

Was that the same press conference where he rolled his eyes when asked a question about knife crime?

Yes we get it Mr Mayor knife crime is soooooooo yesterday.

Some lawyer would get it overturned in the courts, would be my prediction.

So you are saying that the last Labour government is to blame for all this then.

Maybe the Mayor might want to look at his budget which has increased significantly under his watch. What is he spending it on and could it be spent better on policing.

But you won't. Otherwise it would have already happened.
