How exactly has Trump stopped so low as president?

LMAO. This is pretty funny. Both Clinton and Trump have been accused of sexual assault.

Where they differ is you probably wont here Clinton on tape saying "grab them by the pussy".

Some other differences:

Trump mocks disabled people.

Trump mocks women he thinks aren't attractive enough.

Trump mocks women who bravely report sexual assaults.

Trump insults recently deceased war heroes, while the family is still in mourning.

Trumps calls all Latino immigrants rapists and criminals.

He calls women dogs, horseface, ugly, disgusting, to name but a few.

You are correct, a POTUS should work on behalf of the people, not just his base. Trump has done more to divide America than any president in history.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

And that's why he is President, he acts normal, like your regular guy. I bet you have said somthing similar in gest or with friends down the pub at some point in your life.

I've had enough of the political answers we are fed, good to see a normal bloke in power

You attack his character because you are unable to attack his policies.

Even then, the only thing you have accurate from your list is his insults to John McCain which I agree was below the belt. Calling a p*** star horseface is fair comment and actually quite funny.

And you act surprised! It's Donald Trump – a brash reality TV star.

Pew Research (link posted previously) shows it was Obama that started the divide in the US both racially and politically.

The economy is booming for everyone – not just his base. Remember, there is the lowest ever black and Hispanic unemployment is US history... Securing the border protects black and Hispanic workers...

We were talking about his character

You will never get me to believe that having a president with all the presidential gravitas of a 3 year old is a good idea. Modern society is slipping into more vitriolic and hate filled keyboard exchanges and I look to leaders to set the tone correctly. Trump is very dangerous in the way he has made children all over the world think its just fine to throw insults and names around without rebuke.

He has even said its ok to physically attack people you disagree with politically, offering to pay legal fees to MAGA hat waving mob members if they assault protesters.

I do have major issues with his policies, positions and decisions if you are interested, which I will detail below in a top 10.

The US economy is doing well, but this was largely down to Trump inheriting a strong economy post 2008 from Obama. I would love to see Trump's steady and calm leadership during the sub prime crisis.

Trump has done some things well, he has made some good moves, some correct decisions. Overwhelmingly though he is a catastrophe of a potus.

1 - Revoking security clearances from former senior govt members if they dare to criticize his crazy behavior.
2 - Declaring victory over ISIS 3 months early and threatening to withdraw US troops against the advice of his own leaders in the area, plunging the region into disarray.
3 - Caging children and separating families at the border
4 - His muslim ban
5 - Denying climate change, how predictable for an old white republican
6 - Giving MBS a free pass for murdering a US resident
7 - Contradicting his own intelligence community, disagreeing with them, and telling his senior generals to "go back to school" because he knows more about ISIS - dangerous and ridiculous. Not to mention his treatment of the DOJ.
8 - Declaration of phony national emergency circumventing the congress, to build a useless wall to appease his MAGA base
9 - Not rebuking Nazis
10 - Trying to repeal laws protecting pre existing conditions

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Revoking security clearances isn't unknown at all.

Trump being too sensitive to criticism though is famous.....So a tentative fair enough.....with the recognition that withdrawing a security clearance can also be a valid action if you think an individual will be unprofessional.

2 - Declaring victory over ISIS 3 months early and threatening to withdraw US troops against the advice of his own leaders in the area, plunging the region into disarray.

He was wrong to say he'd withdraw troops, though it's over emotive to say it was 'plunging the region into disarray'. It did no such thing and Trump listened to his military which went against a campaign pledge which he was eager to fulfill.......So it's a nothing burger.

3 - Caging children and separating families at the border

It's a necessary action to separate children from the adults they come illegally in with at a national border. This is common sense and was done for decades.....The democrats just decided to make a big noise about it with Trump.

4 - His muslim ban

It wasn't a 'Muslim' ban. The policy was and is common sense.

5 - Denying climate change, how predictable for an old white republican

I'm fine with you saying something like this but Isn't this a double standard, as you wouldn't point out a stereotype of a black person would you?

But other than that....I would agree that his commentary on climate change has been a bit silly at times. However, I have no issues with him withdrawing from the Paris accord.

6 - Giving MBS a free pass for murdering a US resident

Not sure what that is about.

7 - Contradicting his own intelligence community, disagreeing with them, and telling his senior generals to "go back to school" because he knows more about ISIS - dangerous and ridiculous. Not to mention his treatment of the DOJ.

I'm not sure what's so controversial about contradicting the intelligence community....other than it being unprofessional to do it publicly. The 'intelligence community' are rather famous for often not giving the wisest advice.

8 - Declaration of phony national emergency circumventing the congress, to build a useless wall to appease his MAGA base

I'd agree that the wall is symbolic in terms of doing what his supporters want. However it was a campaign pledge and I'm sure that if he doesn't build it plenty of democrats and Trump critics would be laughing and saying he went back on his main campaign promise......So I'm very much aware that he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

9 - Not rebuking Nazis

Most of them weren't 'Nazis' and he rebuked both sides actually.

10 - Trying to repeal laws protecting pre existing conditions

That's more the GoP......I'm not sure how interested Trump actually is in the details of the replacement to Obamacare.

Anyway again, it's a nothing burger as it didn't happen.

In the meantime America continues to lead the world economy.

1 - Revoking security clearances because you dont like what someone said about you is totally unprecedented and is petty and ridiculous.

2 - Not sure its a nothing burger, his leader in the region immediately resigned once Trump made his announcement which had not been aligned with any of this team in the area first, that is unprecedented. It is indicative of Trump's inability to make calm and concise decisions as opposed to sowing chaos and uncertainty with ill thought out knee jerk reactions.

3 - Family separation was in place at times in the past, but Trump seemed to take particular pleasure in caging children.

4 - It very much started out life as a muslim ban.

[Link]

5 - I would happily point out stereotypes of old black people, if I knew of any. Climate change deniers are quite literally ruining the planet for future generations. This is the worst thing anyone can do.

6 - [Link]

[Link]

7 - It is not just unprofessional to chastise and contradict senior intelligence officials publicly, it is downright dangerous. These people are supposed to operate under a mandate from the POTUS which empowers them to run global affairs as necessary. Being openly ridiculed by your own commander in chief is ridiculous and makes America weaker, not stronger.

8 - Damned if he does, and damned if he doesnt, through his own idiotic and misleading actions! He promised mexico would pay, what about that campaign promise? Its a nonsense. Run the government according to the needs of the day, not keeping some simplistic soundbite promise designed to whip xenophobes into a frenzy at MAGA rallies.

9 - He said there were "very fine people, on both sides". He utterly failed to condemn the white nationalists because he likes their votes and support.

[Link]

10 - He is at it again, trying to hurt American people with pre existing conditions:

[Link]

More unpredictable and reactionary stuff from Trump, fine when you are running a NYC real estate empire, not fine when you are the leader of the free world. He is piss poor as a president and will go down in history as such.

In 100 years Nixon and Trump will be taught in schools to show the corrupt, ineffective and criminal presidencies of the past.

You do realise that I don't regard any of those news outlets you have linked to as objective.

Rather than go around in circles on the points that I've already answered I'll address the 'Unite the Right' rally and corresponding Antifa counter demonstration which sparked the violence in Charlottesville

To provide Trump's full quote that I fully back:

“What about the alt-left that came charging at, as you say, at the alt-right?” Trump said. “Do they have any semblance of guilt?”

“I’ve condemned neo-Nazis. I’ve condemned many different groups. But not all of those people were neo-Nazis, believe me,” he said.

“You had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists,” Trump said. “The press has treated them absolutely unfairly.”

“You also had some very fine people on both sides,” he said.

You said Trump was 'Not rebuking Nazis', yet here in the very article to link to his statement includes, 'I've condemned neo Nazis', which he has.

Then you link me to a Richard Spencer video where his s*** lords memed the feck out of the left with 'Hail Trump and Nazi salutes.....and you lot took it all seriously because it's what the left want you to think is out there......Well it is out there but you thinking the alt right are Nazis makes me chuckle.....You don't know the half of it.

Yeah Richard Spencer the 'Nazi' with his liberal professor girlfriend. How much of Richard Spencer have you actually listened to? I bet you haven't heard anything other than lefty articles. I know because I've listened to him but you just took the misinformation and didn't question it.

I don't support Spencer's ideas by the way but I actually know them.

As for actual neo Nazis.....Yeah, they will all vote for Trump....and you know what....All the anti white racists will vote for the Democrats.

And I'll tell you what, there are a hell of a lot more of them going about in the US than neo Nazis......Some of them have political power and lots of them are in institutions.

So you pick your racism and yea makes your choice.

What utter hyperbole. Trump affecting children's behaviours now, give me a break!

Of course! Nothing to do with cutting regulation, cutting taxes and giving the markets confidence as a pro-business president.

1. I have no problem with this. John Brennan had claimed Trump had been blackmailed by Putin and is unstable. He has no reason to have access to national secrets.

2. ISIS is now defeated in Iraq and Syria. Yet you cannot even acknowledge it.

3. It was always government policy implemented by Obama. No media outrage back then though!

4. Fake news. Not a Muslim ban. So many Muslim countries not on the list.

5. President Trump to 60 Minutes in October: "I think something’s happening. Something’s changing and it’ll change back again. I don’t think it’s a hoax. I think there’s probably a difference. But I don’t know that it’s manmade. I will say this: I don’t want to give trillions and trillions of dollars. I don’t want to lose millions and millions of jobs … I’m not denying climate change."

6. Tricky one diplomatically as SA are allies - Obama would have done the same.

7. His own intelligence committees made up of partisan Obama holdovers?

8. Build the wall by this means is justified. Don't you want one?

9. Fake news. He was making the point that far left and far right are one of the same.

10. While yesterday a judge ruled Obamacare statute is unconstitutional.

We should probably take this onto the 'Trump bias' thread as this is becoming a duplicate and get back to topic on Alex Jones.

Yep, he has a mixture of paranoia and mental instability like many, but he's been able to make it work financially for him.

I don't know if what he has is fixable but people like Joe Rogan are a good influence on him I think.
