No, it's not a big deal for me. It's straightforward, apply sanctions then move forward. Done. I don't expect you to be offended by how black players are treated. I'm talking about the wider game, not planet hrolf. You said you have other things to do, I'm not stopping you from getting on with them. Or are you planning the usual all day stint on race today too?

At last, you reveal your true agenda. It took long enough.

I'll never stop giving honest opinions because of people like you.

You're free to give your opinion all day long if you wish and I wouldn't want you not to be able to. Your response to these monkey chants is predictable as is mine.

Read carefully.

This might be a big deal to you, but in my universe, it is not.
I don't stay awake at night worrying about terrace abuse in foreign countries.

Why do you?

There is a position that exists between ‘this keeps me up at night’ and ‘let them crack on racially abusing people’ - I’d suggest that most people fall within that position.

Jesus Christ. If you actually bothered to read my posts, you would know how I feel about morons making monkey chants.
It is a question of proportion.

If the whole media had not been hijacked by a globalist by proxy liberal agenda, I might be less bothered with that and have more time to worry about the sensibilities of rich Black footballers.

The constant barrage of this White guilt stuff breeds contempt for what would be reasonable concerns, albeit not the most serious issues regarding multiculturalism.

And you and I are both in that middle ground.

Not sure how many times I can repeat myself on this.

This happened in Montenegro, not Manchester.
Do you really expect a White 55 year old man to get his knickers in a twist about this?

I will leave that to the old White men who are paid to pretend that they do.

I feel that your thoughts on race and immigration are bubbling up and filtering into your perception of this, just as much as the agenda you mention.

My view is that monkey chants at black players isn't something that the vast majority want to hear, and that sanctions or banning fans that engage in it for internationals wouldn't be a bad idea and will make a repeat less likely.

For domestic games I don't really see it as being my business. I'm not looking to change the world or a local culture , I just don't want our players to be treated like animals. If that's too much for some so be it.

While we are making observations about each other.

What I have concluded from this conversation is that you can't read and or that despite making my feelings on this clear on several occasions, you only wish to insinuate prejudice on my part regardless.

That is another thing that I won't lose sleep over.

Now please feel free to have the last word, as I know you WILL lose sleep otherwise.

Nothing in the message you've highlighted is even in reference to you aside from "I feel that your thoughts on race and immigration are bubbling up and filtering into your perception of this, just as much as the agenda you mention."

which is entirely correct.

I used to watch SSN a lot but it has now become unwatchable because of its obsession with racism, promoting female sport and let's not forget Tiger Woods.

Sorry Sky Sports I won't be watching you much from now on.

Yep, use to get it for the cricket.....but even that has become sullied by too much commercialism and money.

I'll always love football and cricket.....Palace is a small part of my identity.....But it's probably Boxing that has retained its original roots far better than football and cricket.

So I mostly only pay for that now.

Though obviously I look forward to taking my boys to see Palace at some point.

Once again Sky banging on about racism this morning.

It seems clear to me that the supposed increase in racist abuse is nothing of the sort. It has always gone on.
What is different now is that some Black players have a high status in the game and now feel that they can threaten to walk off or quit and those that run football and own football teams will jump. It's about asserting perceived power.
On top of that, we have the media bending over backward to 'expose' it for their own commercial ends.

There will always be people who want to dare to do stuff that is socially unacceptable. It is in their nature.
Why anyone wants to abuse people racially or otherwise is beyond me but then we are dealing with tiny minds who are stimulated by getting that sort of attention.

When we ignored them it wasn't much of a problem. Now certain individuals are asserting themselves and self serving organisations are encouraging them, it will only make matters worse because they have given the morons a challenge.
