You are absolutely right. I was wrong about the dates and which players were cleared out and when.
What I am 100% correct about though (which is my point) is Noades sold each and every single one of them for a massive profit and only a tiny percentage of that profit was ever put back into the club.
Expecting the coaching staff to continue pulling rabbits out of hats and finding young prospects again and again.
Which is even more credidit to Coppell and coaches he had working with him at the time as often they did manage to find a few gems too.

......For Ron to sell on at another massive profit!

I mean, I'm no real Noades fan but it is a bit misleading to just add up the departures, especially including a few who were moved on by the club (Thorn) because they weren't needed and some who left on frees.

Andy Roberts, Hopkin, Freedman were pretty big buys the summer after we were relegated and I'm pretty sure Gareth Taylor was a big money flop.

Under Noades we also broke transfer records to bring in Dyer and Martyn in the first place and built two new stands.

He had his obvious faults and played a role in our problems for sure, but I think you're probably giving him a bit too much credit portraying him as some kind of evil genius who never did anything good at all...

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

Both of which were mainly paid for by 5 year season ticket holders, Lifeline or other long term membership schemes (IE: Us fans!)

In terms of the 'Holmesdale', I am under the impression that it cost £8 Mill.I think Noades said he could raise £2.3 Mill from long-term season tickets, and £2 Mill each from Wimbledon and CPFC Grant Aid.Lottery money killed off the grants, accordingly the delay in planning permission meant that Grant Aid was not available.

yes, but do the dispensers actually manage to look surly whilst delivering the pint, like a proper club bar person?

The only thing Ron Noades cared about was himself. He knew Goldberg could never make it work and so rather than find a buyer who could actually take the club forward he kept the assets on a crazy leaseback basis that was of total disadvantage to the club and basically lined his pockets. Goldberg was an imbecile to do it, which at the time I found hard to understand. He ran a very profitable staff recruitment firm from an office in Bromley where I worked a couple floors above at the time. All his business acumen seemed to evaporate!
It was one of the most disastrous events in the clubs history and one that took years to put right.
I agree with the comments about him selling off all the decent players and then money went back to him, not into the club.
