0ver 50% of the chicken we buy contains salmonella in fatal quantities. I'm all up for buying ones that have taken a swim in chlorine.

The trick is to cook the f***ing thing.

Old FSA survey. 5.7%

I may look for something more up to date later but we’re lambing in Wales and reception is poor.

I did find an older survey with higher levels, presumably EU regulations improved things.

You appear to be confusing campylobacter with Salmonella

Gender is so last year. I don't think I would make a good woman though. Perhaps I'm pan-gender.

Going by the photo in your profile, you'd be fine as a woman as long as you wore a burkha

Perhaps I can help....if it's sauce pan gender you're a lady. If it's Peter Pan gender you're a boy.

I hope I have resolved your doubts on this issue.

What the price compared to soap and water? I might have a dip myself.

I was reading a copy of Which? magazine, the not for profit consumer mag, and they said that overall the US standards were not as good as UK, but I got the impression teh gap was not massive.

I'm sure someone will have an issue with Which?
