Wise words from the Spanish PM:-

The most important lesson we need to learn from what’s happening in the UK is that when decision-making processes, based on lies, are put in the hands of the people, societies – in this case British society – wind up down a blind alley.

I read the 9 million pound brochure the government sent out.
The liars are the government who took us down a blind alley.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Well get your travelling in now because you’ll be confined to Britain after Brexit.

And being male

Do you think it would be acceptable to say
Dark , female and crusty? NO.

You sound bigoted.

I find it neither bigoted nor racist although I disagree with what he said as there are quite a few females and non whites in the Tory Government including the first Asian minister in one of the big three posts.

At least Mrs May selects her team on merit and not because they are ex shag buddies

This morning I received a letter from Bromley Council requesting my assistance in the forth coming European Elections. I see the establishment didn't waste much time.

I will be writing to the council to tell them to stick their election roles into the newly photographed black hole.

I have been a Poll Clerk for more than 20 years and have done every type of election multiple times without fear or favour. Yes I got paid but I felt it my democratic duty to my fellow citizens.

This may sound silly to some of you but on the day I was full of patriotic pride that in our country people of all sorts vote with their kids and whilst out walking their dogs etc. You don't need a policemen at the polling station keeping order. Neither do soldiers come to your home inviting you to vote. On the whole must people are cheerful, very polite to us election officials, slightly cynical and I haven't a clue how they voted which is how it should be.

For me that has all changed I know it's not the council's fault but I refuse to take part in elections that are a sham when a Parliament has disgraced itself by ignoring the will of the people. If I belonged to a political party I would down tools as many Tory activists are doing.

As for voting I haven't decided yet.

Democracy in this country is a national disgrace.

Yep, trust that democracy is a reflection of a majority of the public will has been damaged.

There needs to be serious payback.

It must be different where you live as there aren't any polling stations in our local parks

Regarding the European Parliament election I for one will either abstain or spoil my ballet paper with some suitable slogan.
I will be doing my utmost to encourage others to do the same.
It is a total nonsense!
