Pelosi is a skilled politican who rungs rings around Trump time and again.

AOC has some extreme views for sure, but so does the freedom caucus.

Picking out 1 or 2 people here and there wont reflect well on the GOP when you have Steve King and.........Donald Trump running around.

Speaking of Nancy Pelosi. Fair play to her!

Owen Jones has to be the ultimate in UK soy boy.....don't get me wrong, he has fierce competition but I think he just about wins it.

Well the Mueller report has been released.

Still waiting for that collusion conviction that so many anti Trump ideologs were so openly certain on in this thread.....still waiting.

All those claims and all that bile and hatred.....and what do they have at the end of it? A giant big nothing burger.

They just ate up all the duped nonsense from their click bait media sources and now reality comes and they don't like it.

Collusion is not a criminal offense, so no one can be charged with that.

What the report shows is that trump did try to get mueller fired, and lied about it. Sanders made up her “multiple fbi sources” that wanted comey fired, which leaves no doubt now that she is a professional liar. The report clearly states that obstruction is an open question and does not clear trump, clearly.

It shows many of trump’s attempts to obstruct justice were actually blocked by his own minions, which is a nice touch.

Trump’s written responses were filled with “I don’t remember” which is funny for a genius with the best memory.

Bunch of cheats and liars doing what they do best.

The most important takeaway is mueller clearly states that congress can proceed with obstruction investigations if they so wish.

From axios:

. Congress can still act against Trump on obstruction charges.

Mueller might have punted on concluding whether or not Trump committed obstruction of justice, but he leaves the door open for Congress to do so, writing that it "can validly regulate the President's exercise of official duties to prohibit actions motivated by a corrupt intent to obstruct justice."

That section of the report contains a lengthy constitutional analysis arguing that a congressional move against Trump wouldn't undermine his executive power outlined under Article II.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Oh how the high and mighty have fallen.

I invite you to go back and read the posts in this thread and indeed your own Maine.

The Democrats and 'never Trumpers' wasted tens of millions of tax payer money on nothing. Their media spread endless rounds of 'got him' and media 'exposures' that came to nothing burgers....because they were hyperbole for their viewers and readers. The stuff you are struggling to justify isn't going to lead anywhere. I doubt that the Democrats will even pursue it.

The amount of bile and nonsense and claims that came to nothing are indicative of the bias that this thread started with.

The thread title premise and been entirely proven and while many valid criticisms can be made towards Trump.....unfortunately not many of them were made from within this thread.

The world is certainly full of never trumpers, as he is the marmite of politicians, there is no middle ground it’s love or hate.

Those never trumpers will never believe that he is fit for office, and regard him as a lying rat with no credibility or moral fiber.

They weren’t your tax dollars, stirlingsays, they were mine.

This absolutely needed to be investigated and anyone looking at what happened with Russian interference and thinking there should not have been a full and proper investigation is nuts.

At the end of the day trump and his cronies were probably too incompetent to truly get in league with sophisticated Russian agents, but they did have their little try at it in the trump tower meeting.

Trump was not exonerated of obstruction of justice, which is a crime.

I don't like Trump but this investigation was political and has amounted to nothing. The Republicans did the same with Clinton.

I don't doubt that Trump tried to have Mueller fired it was hardly an impartial choice for an investigator. Would Mrs May be happy if the HOP appointed Shami to investigate her?

As for Mueller leaving it open to congress to press charges well after 3 years and millions of dollars he's bottled it. Congress can always impeach a president if they have the votes right or wrong has nothing to do with it.

Mueller has his suspicions but the concept of innocent until proven guilty has gone by the board with Mueller refusing to clear Trump and hinting (he must be guilty I just can't find the evidence)*

I just hope that Congress realizes these special prosecutors are a bad idea because they always go off message as the SP goes on a fishing expedition, there has to be a better and fairer way to do this.

*My words of course but that's how his summing up comes across.

God ain't that the truth.

Even a lot of his supporters support him more as an opposition to the alternative......and probably because of the anti PC stuff.

'Lying rat'....yeah....Not fit for office? Are you kidding....it's a frigging requirement!

Fair enough....but I hear that 5 million are off of food stamps....I think up to now he's done a lot of economic good.

It's a hell of a lot of money to spend.

Personally while I'm not a fan of the Democrats I think they need to be focusing upon looking sensible and controlled and putting all their backing behind Sanders once he wins the candidacy.

Getting into emotional 'hate wars' with Trump only plays into his hands.

Though a Sanders presidency is far more scary to me than a Trump one.....still, I'd enjoy the ride the same as I try to anyway....We are all just insignificant pawns whichever and whoever is in.
