Happy St. George's day who wasn't English and never set foot in the british isles, would he have voted Brexit ?

Thought I'd edit this before people who aren't paying attention,
a. Think I was being racist.
b. Think I am not patriotic.
c. Think I am pro Brexit.

Happy St. Georges all.

No, there wasn't an EU.

However, he was executed for a point of principle.

Obviously the use of St. George is symbolic and not literal.

Father Christmas wasn't a fat man in a red coat. So let's stop using Santa!.......Or no....perhaps lets not be literal.

Yes, happy Saint George's Day fellow patriots.

For all the racists that'll say Saint George was a foreigner, Brexit this, Brexit that, none of that s*** has anything to do with it. It's about national pride and celebrating being part of the greatest country on earth. Ever.

Brings a tear to the eye and a lump to the throat.

Hang on some people on this forum are patriotic and love their country.

I'm just not sure which one that is? Russia? Cuba? Venezuela? anywhere that is not called England?

And yet you live in Hastings.

One of the most quintessentially English places to live.

Thanks, Pussay, and the same to you.

And well done for the correct apostrophe usage. Today I've already seen examples of:

St Georges Day
and
St Georges' Day

(leaving aside whether or not St should be followed by a full-stop!)
