Neil Ruddock started off ok and then went downhill as quickly as his weight sky rocketed. I remember one game where he misjudged the flight of the ball, it bounced (over his head!) and the attacker went around him and scored.

You could clearly see the referee telling him next time he was off. A few moments later he took out a player and got sent off. Some Palace fans applauded him off, where I sat in the main stand we booed him. To this day I am convinced it was deliberate on his part.
