If he goes(which I hope he doesnt) I envisage a change of style as he’s unique and would be impossible to replace like for like.
If we keep Benteke I would like to see a wide player who’s a decent crosser of the ball.
I could also see merit in having a quick strong dynamic young striker as an option.
I’ve been impressed by Adams at Birmingham but am not sure if he would be ready to make the step up immediately.
As an aside I would add that Sunday was the first time this season we looked dangerous from set pieces.
Some of this could be laid at Arsenal’s defence, but it made a big difference having Benteke, Dann, Kouyate and Kelly to attack the ball.
If Zaha goes I think we’ll have to consider set pieces as another route to goal.

Jarrod Bowen is worth a look, scored 20 goals from the wing this season, still only 22 and with Hull mid table he could be bought for a reasonable fee you'd have thought.

Regarding the list from Matteo, I like the look of both Xadas and Trincao at Braga too, although not necessarily ready to walk into the first team, certainly ones for the future and would be much cheaper than Horta

The ones you mention are good players, but still too young or with no experience in a top league yet (Bowen's case).

There are many such players that I could have mentioned. I like Bowen too. And Harry Wilson from the Championship. But we're talking about replacing Zaha here. The man of the aeason, the best of he best who has kept Palace up.

So only the best of the best options who are already playing in a top league.

What do you think of Morales - Levante. Just watching Barca - Levante game on ITV4 and he looks more than useful, and quick!

Decent, but not Zaha level.

And past 30 years old.

I would agree Patrick .If Wilf does leave I cant see us spending a big chunck of any fee on just one player in attempt to replace him .

And we still need a striker

Many of the players on the first page wouldn't cost chunks of money. I put them in especially because they are affordable

I don't think you can replace Zaha. As others have alluded to, his leaving would probably result in a change of style. Palace have traditionally played with fast and entertaining wide players and so spending the money on a winger of decent ability would be important but probably not on a like for like basis. The balance of that money would be better used elsewhere on the pitch.

I would try and buy Lookman or similar, (there have been lots of good suggestions) and buy a goal scorer with the rest.

Well, yeah, but good luck with that. There are Middle Eastern team, Chinese and MLS team lining up with 300k a week salaries for them
